United Way's Live United Golf Tournament

United Way of Coastal and Western Connecticut is excited to host our second annual Live United Golf Tournament and Dinner.

Established in 1942, our mission is to improve the lives of hard-working households that live paycheck-to-paycheck by mobilizing the resources of local communities to create lasting change. We fight for the health, education, and financial stability of every person in our 27-town region of Greater Bridgeport, Greater Danbury, Greater New Milford, Greater Norwalk, and the city of Stamford, with a focus on hard-working households we call ALICE^® (Asset Limited, Income Constrained, Employed). In our region, nearly 40% of households are ALICE or live below the Federal Poverty Line. Despite working hard, these households live paycheck to paycheck and are unable to afford life’s most basic necessities such as housing, food, child care, transportation, technology, and healthcare.
